Student Testimonial

A student wrote this testimonial about her recent experience of discovering Neuro-Training and then studying with the Adelaide Campus of the College of Neuro-Training in 2013.

Sept 2012 Future Student I met Dana at the 2012 AKA Conference where I decided to attend to see what other Kinesiology Courses were available in SA. I felt comfortable and at ease immediately upon chatting with the Neuro-Training Kinesiology Practitioners, there was something different in their energy and posture. I knew I had found the “Mercedes” in furthering my studies in Kinesiology.

Feb 2013 Student Application Process I was impressed with the application and interview process I was required to do prior to being accepted by the college. Before embarking on the journey to become a qualified “Neuro-Trainer Kinesiologist” you were required to have had a session. This impressed me as I had attended previous kinesiology courses where students had no real idea what they were about to learn and had never had a kinesiology treatment.

March 2013 New Student: Module 1 ASONT I was one very excited new student and knew I was in the right place, at the right time with the right teacher by morning tea on Day 1. The course has proved to be invaluable and I honestly know that Dana and her patience, great teaching methods and ability to keep the class focused and on track, were invaluable to my ability to learn this wonderful, “life changing” modality.

Student: Module 2 Principles Of Recuperation In the Principles of recuperation module we learnt about how the brain functions and the effects when compromised due to injury, trauma, emotional or physiological events. You learn about how these can be suppressed in your body’s systems, organs, glands, muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments etc. How exciting to be able to move freely again when these suppressions are cleared! What I really love is that the client does not need to know, and may not know what it is they have suppressed. In my experience in prior kinesiology courses the practitioner was expected to “try and drag these suppressions out” verbally and quite often the client themselves has no idea as it is locked away with no key. This module teaches the importance of working with the clients “available energy” and not about putting all their shopping list of issues in a box to treat them. This module is paramount for Kinesiologist to add to their tool box.

Student: Module 3 Blue Print 1 What can I say, an amazing course which really does make you a better you! The better neurological options learnt in this course have really been very beneficial to many of clients, changing their lives for the better. I have so many testimonials even I am impressed. Working with the Brain Functions is a powerful kinesiology tool. Highly recommend this module to people, even if only for their own personal development.

Student: Module 6 Kinesiology Student Clinic / Client Care What a way to know and understand what it will be like when back in your own clinic working with your first real paying client, Kinesiology Student Clinic / Client Care was an awesome experience. You are assessed on your ability to provide a full Neuro-Training Kinesiology balance on someone you have never met. Nerve racking, exciting, valuable, and a confidence booster was all I can say. Best way to know about how to put it all together in a clinic situation. No “mock” treatments, all genuine and all beneficial for both the volunteer client and the practitioner. Dana was awesome to have assessing you and you were made to feel very comfortable, and able to set up the room appropriately. You really felt like you were in a clinic environment and never felt intimidated by Dana.

Practical Assessment / Theory Assessments In all my years learning various new modalities in the complementary health industry I can honestly say studying with “Neuro-Training” has been the most awesome and invaluable journey. The assignments are very appropriate and I actually often refer back to them. I often re-visit module sections and have “ahhh” moments. First time in a modality that I really feel I have a “working Manual” that gets put to good use. Dana’s input and marking has also proved to be useful. Dana was also available to answer queries, followed up really well and also made learning an enjoyable experience. Thank You Dana. : )

Graduating Cert IV Student: Summary What I loved and was very impressed with, each module is taught so you learn about what you are going to be practicing, always seek permission to work with others and carry out genuine balances on each other. We benefited in learning to become practitioners and along the way develop ourselves personally. The assignments were exciting, fun and rewarding to complete. It was the first time I can ever remember where you really do refer to your “working manuals” often and your assignments are applicable. I have come away and can honestly say that thanks to Dana being such an awesome teacher, ensuring all students understand the process and information before moving on, being patient and just being great company during the breaks makes such a difference in a learning environment.   So if you are a student wanting to study kinesiology and you’re not sure which college to study with, just go and have a few different kinesiology sessions with a couple of practitioner and you decide. My first neuro-training kinesiology session changed my outlook on life, enabling me to move forward and become a practitioner who has treated over 150 clients with kinesiology in 2014. My main form of advertising is “word of mouth” referrals, which is a testimonial to Dana and her awesome teaching methods. Enjoy the journey, I know I still am.

Diploma Modules I am eagerly waiting to study the modalities with Dana in the near future.
